HAMBURG, N.Y. - Stop by Hilbert College this weekend and join in the celebrations!
The weekend starts Friday, October 17th with an alumni gathering at JP Fitzgerald's on South Park Avenue (6 - 9 pm) hosted by the Alumni Office
Then Saturday is the main event!
The morning starts off with the annual San Damiano Awards brunch in Franciscan Hall Atrium (10:30 - 12:30 pm) which will honor and recognize the achievements and contributions these individuals have made to Hilbert College:
- 2025 Dominique Thompson Alumnus of the Year Award – Frank Castiglia '11, '12
- 2025 Graduate of the Last Decade Award – Alicia Anthony '14, '15
- 2025 Hilbert College Franciscan Values Award – Jeff Papia
- 2025 St. Clare Student of the Year Award – Brenna Mulvaney '26
- 2025 Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee – Emily Gawlak, Class of 2020
- 2025 Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee – Hunter Martineau, Class of 2020
- 2025 Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee – Ashley Repine, Class of 2020
- 2025 Athletics Hall of Fame Inductee – Trevor Stark, Class of 2015
Most of the activities will move to the back end of campus where the Bert's Block Party tent reception will be set up so fans can enjoy the outdoor activities which will be taking place as early as 12 pm. Hilbert Men's Basketball is hosting it's annual alumni game in the Hafner Recreation Center at 12:15 pm while the Hawks baseball program is hosting it's alumni game on the FSSJ baseball diamond at 12 noon.
The Hawks Soccer teams are hosting an important Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match against Pitt-Greensburg on the Hawks Varsity Field. The Hilbert women (1-3-1) will battle against the 3-1-1 Bobcats, starting at 1 pm and the Hilbert men (1-3-1) will square off against the 4-1 Bobcats at 3:15 pm.
During half time of the women's soccer game, the 2025 Athletics Hall of Fame Class will be introduced at midfield and beginning at 2:55 pm, the men's soccer team will honor their six seniors (
Carter Burke,
Jacob Donner,
Jacob Korte,
Ryan Michelsen,
Chris Smith and
Jason Vullo) in a pregame celebration at midfield.
The celebration concludes with Anniversary Class Dinners (1975, 2000, 2015, 2020) at Johnson's Landing.
