HAMBURG, N.Y. - The Athletics Department is pleased to announce the Hilbert College Athletes of the Week for September October 13, 2025.
Jade Schiller (Women's Volleyball) and Julia Stutz (Women's Bowling) were recognized for their athletic performances during their respective team's run last week.
Sophomore Jade Schiller (Marysville, MI/Marysville) served as an anchor for the Hawks defense through a pair of AMCC league contests last week. The 5-4 Libero finished with 37 digs, five assists and two aces, playing a vital role in the Hawks transitions against Penn State Behrend and La Roche. She averaged 4.63 digs per set in addition to 53 receptions off serves. Schiller is currently ranked second in the AMCC in total digs and is 37 digs away from setting a new single season Hilbert digs record.
Senior Julia Stutz (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) exploded in a record-setting weekend performance at the Grapevine Classic. The right-handed thrower knocked down a program high of 1,011 pins while setting a new weekend average, 202.20 and was named to the All-Tournament Team with her fourth-place finish. She continued with her impressive ball placement by knocking down 919 pins through 50 Baker frames (18.4 average) to help the Hawks set a new single game high score, a new match high score as well as the largest margin of victory as they finished in 4th place.
