Women's Volleyball Sweeps Pitt-Greensburg to Set New Single Season Win Record

GREENSBURG, Pa. – Hilbert Women's Volleyball picked up a commanding 3-0 conference win on the road Saturday afternoon, sweeping Pitt.-Greensburg to improve to 3-1 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) play.

With that victory, the 2025 Hawks established a new single season win record having improved to 16-8 overall.

The Hawks controlled the match from the outset, posting set scores of 25-14, 25-20, and 25-23. Hilbert used a balanced attack and strong service game to keep the Bobcats off-balance and secure their third consecutive win.

Hilbert's aggressive serving proved decisive, led by Jessee Jonathan's career-high 7 aces, helping the Hawks build early leads in each set. Jenna Revak and Michaela Rice paced the offense with 8 kills apiece, while defensive anchors Jade Schiller and Revak combined for 30 digs to stifle UPG's attack.

The Hawks hit an efficient .296 in the first set and never looked back, staying composed as Pitt.-Greensburg attempted to rally late in the third.

By the Numbers:

Hilbert outpaced Pitt.-Greensburg in nearly every statistical category:
  • Kills: Hilbert 36 | UPG 24
  • Aces: Hilbert 14 | UPG 7
  • Blocks: Hilbert 2 | UPG 2
  • Assists: Hilbert 35 | UPG 21
  • Digs: Hilbert 59 | UPG 50
  • Hitting Percentage: Hilbert .212 | UPG .055
