Women's Hockey Announces 2026-27 Schedule

HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College Athletics Department is excited to announce the release of the Women's Ice Hockey 2026-27 season schedule, featuring 25 regular season contests, including 12 games at Nike Base and a full United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) slate as the Hawks continue building momentum in their fifth varsity campaign.

The season begins with a pair of exhibition matchups on the road against Niagara University Club (DI) on Oct. 17 and Buffalo State on Oct. 28 before the Hawks officially open the regular season at home with a two-game series against Neumann University on Nov. 6-7.

Hilbert will immediately jump into conference play the following weekend, welcoming UCHC opponent Utica University to Hamburg for a two-game set Nov. 13-14. The Hawks then travel to Connecticut for conference games against Albertus Magnus on Nov. 20-21.

The non-conference portion of the schedule includes regional matchups against Buffalo State, Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA), Hiram College, William Smith College, and Salem State University. Hilbert hosts Buffalo State on Nov. 24 and MCLA on Dec. 4-5 before making trips to Hiram, Ohio, Dec. 11-12 and to New England for a pair with Salem State on Jan. 15-16. The Hawks also travel to Buffalo State on Jan. 9 and William Smith on Jan. 12.

Conference action resumes in late January with a road series at nationally recognized UCHC power Elmira College on Jan. 22-23. Hilbert then returns home to host Manhattanville University on Jan. 29-30 before a conference weekend against Chatham University on Feb. 5-6.

The final stretch of the season features road games at Nazareth University on Feb. 12-13 before the Hawks close the regular season at Nike Base with a two-game series against St. John Fisher University on Feb. 19-20.

Hilbert's 2026-27 slate includes six home conference games and several opportunities for the Hawks to build upon the program's growth against strong competition throughout the UCHC and across the region.

Hilbert will be working to earn a spot in the UCHC postseason which begins on Wednesday, February 24th, with the first-round winners moving on to play in the semifinals on Saturday, February 27th, for the right to play in the Saturday, March 6th UCHC final.
