HAMBURG, N.Y. - Hilbert College Junior pitcher Alex Rumfola earned a spot on the D3Baseball.com Team of the Week today for games played during March 23-29, 2026.

Rumfola tossed two scoreless innings in a relief appearance at SUNY Fredonia, including an immaculate eighth inning, striking out the side on nine pitches, giving the Hawks right-hander nine strikeouts over his last four innings pitched.

The Team of the Week is D3baseball.com's weekly honor roll, in its fifteenth season of recognizing the top performers at each of nine positions from the previous week.

Players are selected from nominations from their school's sports information directors.

This is the seventh Team of the Week of the 2026 season.
