HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College's Andrew Johnson was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week today for the second time this spring.

Andrew Johnson (Niagara Falls, NY/ Niagara Falls | SUNY Niagara | Georgia Gwinnett) led the Hawks to an AMCC doubleheader sweep over La Roche on Saturday afternoon. Johnson closed out game one by striking out the side to pick up the save, then followed that performance with a six inning start, allowing just one run on four hits while striking out six to lead the Hawks to a 6-3 Game Two victory. The senior finished the afternoon with nine strikeouts over seven innings (11.59 k/7) while earning a win and a save to help the Hawks to a 2-0 conference start.
