RUSH, N.Y. - The Hilbert College Men's Golf team finished in 4th place after the first day of a 2-day tournament at the Wild Wood Country Club.
Second-year golfer
Alex Rumfola led the Hawks after carding a team-best 88 while
Gabe Prohaska tied his teammate
Spencer Harford with a 97.
Joe Madden's 99 completed the scoring for Hilbert, but
Sam Platt also finished the day with a 106.
The Hawks will return for day two tomorrow, but after one day in the books, St. John Fisher holds a 5-stroke lead over Nazareth.
