STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Hilbert College Golf wrapped up Day 1 of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Golf Championship in 6th place tie, following a competitive round at Toftrees Golf Resort.
Leading the Hawks was senior
Gabe Prohaska, who posted a career-best round of 76. With just four bogeys on the day, Prohaska played with precision and purpose, earning himself a share of 6th place in a field of 40 golfers representing eight conference schools. He returns to the course tomorrow well-positioned for a strong finish.
Penn State Altoona carved up the course finishing four strokes ahead of Mount Aloysius, while Hilbert and La Roche were neck-and-neck all day today.

Day 2 of the AMCC Championship begins early Tuesday morning with Hilbert pairing up with Carlow at 9:00 am.
The tournament champion will earn the AMCC's automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship, scheduled for May 12–15, 2026, at Mission Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
