2025 ROSTERS
The 2025 Hilbert Men's Golf roster will add three new golfers, (
Joe Madden, Sam Platt, and Chase LoPinto) to a team that returns
Gabe Prohaska and
Alex Rumfola.
Prohaska will look to lead the squad this season as the lone senior, after competing in all seven matches a year ago, including a career best 79 at the Bradford Invite at Pennhills Club.
Rumfola is back for his second year on the team after participating in five matches last fall, posting a career best 85 at the Hilbert Invite, before carding 88 and 94 on AMCC Championship weekend.
The women's roster will feature
Madison Esmond, who returns after competing in all five matches in the inaugural season of Hilbert Women's Golf, as well as freshman
Victoria Battaglia.
Esmond posted a career best 108 twice last season (Hilbert Invite & AMCC Preview).

THE 2025 SCHEDULE
The men will start the year off on Saturday, August 30
th against Pitt-Bradford at Pennhills Club, before both squads travel to Wildwood Golf Club on September 7
th and 8
th for the St. John Fisher Collegiate Invitational.
Hilbert will host its annual Invite on September 17
th at Gowanda Country Club, featuring both the men's and women's programs.
Following the invite, the women will have a quick turnaround as they head to the Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invite at Country Club of Meadville on Sunday, September 21
st, before rounding out the fall at the AMCC Women's Invitational at Summit Country Club, hosted by Mount Aloysius.
On the men's side, the Hawks will participate in Keuka Invite (Sep. 24
th) and the Sinking Valley Collegiate Classic (Oct. 5
th and 6
th), before heading to Toftrees Golf Resort in State College, Pa for the AMCC Championship Tournament.

COACHING / SUPPORT STAFF

Head coachÂ
Jim Hesch enters his first season leading the Hilbert Men's and Women's Golf programs.
Hesch brings over 20 years of collegiate coaching experience to Hilbert, along with valuable organizational expertise from his role with the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy. He will continue to serve as the superintendent of operations for the Conservancy's three golf courses while leading both the men's and women's golf programs at Hilbert. Â

Dr. Martin Floss continues to support the golf program by serving as the team's Faculty Team Advisor. He is an additional source of academic support and serves as a resource regarding academic issues for the golf student-athletes and coaches. Dr. Floss' association with the department also creates a communication link between faculty, student-athletes, and coaches.
