HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College Baseball has been recognized with the 2024-25 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack. The Hawks are among 750 high school and college programs nationwide to receive this prestigious honor.

The award, given by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), recognizes member programs across all levels that maintained a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2024-25 academic year.

Hilbert posted an impressive 3.27 cumulative GPA across the fall and spring semesters. On the field, the 2025 Hawks finished the season with a 7-7 conference record (19-19 overall), securing a berth in their fourth consecutive AMCC Championship Tournament.

This is the third time the Hawks have earned the ABCA academic distinction under head coach Drew Fittry, having previously received the honor in 2019-20 and 2022-23.
