HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Allegheny Mountain College Conference released the 2026 Baseball All-Conference Teams and Individual Award Winners today, and six Hilbert student-athletes earned All-Conference recognition.

Patrick Evans were selected to the First Team, while senior pitcher
Andrew Johnson, junior relief pitcher
Alex Rumfola, sophomore catcher
Reed Lesmeister, and junior outfielder
Joey Haynes were named to the Second Team.
Regular and Postseason Champions Penn State Behrend collected three of the four individual awards with Colin Bolla (Pitcher of the Year), Dylan Barnes (Player of the Year) and Paul Benim (Coach of the Year) all receiving individual honors. Penn State Altoona's Judd Dasso rounded out the induvial awards with his Newcomer of the Year selection.
Gregory Lowry (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls | SUNY Niagara) turned in a standout year on the hill, earning First Team recognition in his first year with the Hawks. Lowry logged 72.0 innings across 13 appearances while posting a 3.38 ERA and striking out 53 batters. In conference action, Lowry posted an AMCC-leading 2.64 ERA across eight appearances and 44.1 innings while finishing with a 5-1 record. The Hawks' ace was named to the AMCC All-Tournament team and was a two-time AMCC Pitcher of the Week during the regular season. Lowry tossed three complete games in conference play, including a nine-inning outing where he allowed just two runs and struck out 11 in a 4-2 win over eventual champion Penn State Behrend.
Patrick Evans (Orchard Park, NY/Orchard Park | SUNY Niagara) proved to be one of the team's most consistent offensive contributors while providing defensive versatility as he earned his first career First Team nod. The senior appeared in 39 games and hit .352 with a .927 OPS, collecting 44 hits, 31 runs scored, and 20 RBI while adding 12 stolen bases. In AMCC play, he played in 17 games and batted .333 with a .479 on-base percentage, recording 18 hits, 15 runs, and nine RBI. He also ranked among the AMCC leaders in walks and hit-by-pitches while leading the Hawks with a pair of home runs in conference games.
Andrew Johnson (Niagara Falls, NY/ Niagara Falls | SUNY Niagara | Georgia Gwinnett) earned Second Team honors in his first year with Hilbert. Johnson made 11 appearances on the mound, working 66.0 innings and compiling 66 strikeouts, a new program single-season record. In conference contests, he made eight appearances, posting a 5.83 ERA across 41.2 innings while ranking second in the AMCC with 47 punchouts. The senior from Niagara Falls earned a pair of AMCC wins on the bump, while also adding a save. Johnson racked up a pair of AMCC Pitcher of the Week nods throughout his lone season in the royal and white.
Alex Rumfola (East Aurora, NY/East Aurora) earned AMCC Second Team honors following a breakout junior season out of the bullpen. Rumfola posted a 4-1 record with a 5.16 ERA across 29.2 innings and recorded 21 strikeouts in nine appearances. Rumfola ranked 11
th in the AMCC with a 5.79 ERA across 18.2 conference innings. Earlier this spring, Rumfola earned D3baseball.com Team of the Week honors for a pair of scoreless frames against SUNY Fredonia, including an immaculate inning. In his first career AMCC start, Rumfola went all seven innings allowing one run (unearned) while walking just one and striking out a pair in a 3-1 in over conference runner-up Alfred State.
Reed Lesmeister (Buffalo, NY/Kenmore West) was recognized for his impact both offensively and behind the plate with a Second Team nod. Lesmeister batted .331 with a .914 OPS in 39 games, recording 42 hits, 31 runs, and 23 RBI while drawing 23 walks. In 17 conference games he led the AMCC with 14 walks while posting the seventh highest OBP (.514) in the league. Defensively, he only allowed three passed balls and 20 stolen bases all season with a .310 RCS %.
Joey Haynes (Niagara Wheatfield, NY/St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute | Canisius College) earned his second career postseason honor with a Second Team recognition after leading the Hilber offense while also ranking among the conference's most productive hitters. Haynes started all 39 games for the Hawks and hit .380 with a .934 OPS, totaling 54 hits, 41 runs scored, and 23 RBI. On the conference leaderboard, he ranked among the top five in the AMCC in hits (third), stolen bases (fifth) and batting average (fifth). Haynes led the Hawks in batting average, hits, runs, doubles, total bases, slugging percentage, and stolen bases.
This year's Hilbert team continued to elevate the baseball program's success under Coach
Drew Fittry's guidance. The Hawks earned a sixth-straight postseason bid and earned the highest AMCC seed in program history (second seed) while posting the third 20-win campaign in the last four seasons.
