HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College Baseball has been recognized with the 2025-26 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack. The Hawks are among the nearly 500 college programs nationwide to receive this prestigious honor.

The award, given by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), recognizes member programs across all levels that maintained a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year.

Hilbert posted an impressive 3.11 cumulative GPA across the fall and spring semesters. On the field, the 2026 Hawks finished the season 22-17 while securing a second place regular season finish in conference play, earning the program's first AMCC postseason bye since becoming a member in 2004-05.

This marks the fourth time the Hawks have earned the ABCA academic distinction under head coach Drew Fittry, having previously received the honor in 2019-20, 2022-23 and 2024-25.
