HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College Athletics is gearing up for another action-packed weekend, starting today!
Four programs will compete on home turf, offering fans plenty of opportunities to cheer on the Hawks.
Women's Ice Hockey
The 0-4 Hawks welcome Albertus Magnus College for a Friday/Saturday series at the Nike Base Ice Rink in Hamburg. In just their third NCAA season, the Falcons enter the weekend undefeated at 4-0. Puck drops Friday, November 21 at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.
Women's Bowling
History will be made as Hilbert hosts its first-ever Hilbert Hammer Classic at Classic Lanes in Kenmore, N.Y., on Saturday and Sunday. The 16-19 Hawks, who are off to the program's most impressive start, will honor four seniors -
Julia Stutz,
Katelyn Bean,
Victoria Hanley, and
Paige Mullen - during a brief Senior Day ceremony before Saturday's opening match at 11:55 a.m. Stutz and Bean will compete in their final collegiate tournament as they prepare for December graduation.
The event features Daemen, D'Youville, Mercyhurst, Niagara, Roberts Wesleyan, Saint Vincent, and William Smith. Saturday's format includes five total-pinfall matches, followed by Sunday's four baker matches and a best-of-seven positional playoff.
Men's & Women's Basketball
Both teams return to the Hafner Center for a doubleheader on Saturday, November 22. This weekend only, the men tip off first at 1 p.m. as the 4-1 Hawks face the 2-3 Keuka Wolves. The women follow at 3 p.m., looking for their first win against a 3-2 Keuka squad.
