HAMBURG, N.Y. - The Athletics Department is pleased to announce the Hilbert College Athletes of the Week for September October 6, 2025.  

Molly McKinnon (Women's Volleyball) and Ja'Lynn Sanders (Women's Soccer) were recognized for their athletic performances during their respective team's run last week. 

Senior Molly McKinnon (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville South | SUNY Erie) put on an explosive performance last week in the Hawks non-conference 3-2 victory over La Roche University.  The 5-8 Outside Hitter finished with an impressive double-double, leading the white and royal with a team-best 14 kills, and 17 digs.  She added three aces, one back-breaking block assist in the 5th set while hitting .222 in attack. 

Freshman Ja'Lynn Sanders continued her red-hot scoring touch, picking up two goals while adding an assist in the women's soccer team's shut-out AMCC victory over Carlow University on October 5th. The 5-8 forward from Bradenton, FL (Palmetto) found the back of the net nine minutes into the game and added her second in the 34th minute, lifting the Hawks by two goals at the break. Sanders fed her teammate just three minutes into the second half for the final point in the game.
