ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Hilbert College Men's Track and Field team scored the program's first points in an outdoor meet as four new program records were broken or established at the University of Rochester Alumni Meet today.
Zy'Mere Covington's 12.78M leap secured a fourth-place finish in the triple jump, scoring four points for Hilbert, and he also broke his one-week-old record in the 100M dash, sprinting to a 11.35 clip.
Lemario Jones cleared his first jump in 12 months, setting a 1.66M record in the high jump and
Zai'Mar Covington also set a new long jump record with his 5.81M effort.
Da'Von Cockrell, who won his heat, is only getting better as he broke his week-old record in the 200 with a 23.90 click.
Hilbert will compete locally in two weeks when they travel to the University at Buffalo on April 20th.
