PRESTO, Pa. – The Hilbert College Golf team dropped a few strokes off their Day 1 team score but still finished in 5th place at the AMCC Golf Championship Tournament hosted by the Club at Nevillewood.
Reese Chase dropped six strokes,
Matthew Whelan sliced four,
Gabe Prohaska trimmed three and
Blaine Morgan lowered his by two as they helped the Hawks to a 707 team score.
Michael Petrus finished the tournament in 10th place after carding a two-day 171 total.
Penn State Altoona earned the AMCC Team Title with a two-day 651 and the Lions placed their top three golfers in first four slots. Trey Heffelfinger outpaced his teammate Jack Ditrani as the Medalist with a 150 final score, shooting an even par 72 totday.
