HAMBURG, N.Y. – After Saturday's rain stole the opening Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) season kick-off double header from Hilbert's baseball and softball teams, Sunday's snow and cold temperatures continue to play havoc in field conditions.
The Hawks baseball game hosted by D'Youville College at the Amherst Northtown Center on Tuesday, April 2 has been postponed. Once a new make-up date is selected, the Hawks game schedule page will updated.
Don't be confused as both Hilbert and D'Youville already have a non-conference double header on their schedule for this Friday, April 5, also hosted by the Spartans.
Hilbert's new home-opener softball game against Pitt-Bradford, also scheduled for April 2, has been changed to an
AWAY game. The Hawks softball team will act as the HOME team on the scoreboard, but will travel to Bradford, Pa. for their first league game of the season.
