Emily Gawlak picked up her second Hawk of the Week honor this semester after guiding the Hawks to a 2-1 record last week.

She poured in 58 points, dished six assists and pulled down 17 rebounds. She averaged 19.3 points, two assists and 5.7 rebounds along with 38.67 minutes per game while being whistled for only three fouls.

The 5-6 guard from Mt. Mercy used her speed to score 16 points in the 63-60 win at home against Penn State Behrend. She then drained 30 points against the undefeated La Roche Redhawks in Hilbert’s 84-69 road loss. Gawlak closed the week scoring 12 points in 63-39 home win over Franciscan.

Gawlak currently leads the AMCC in scoring (17.4), is second in minutes per game (38.1) ranking her eighth in Division III in dependability.
