Michael Podgorny helped the Hawks to a 1-3 record at a weekend invitational and earned his second Hawk of the Week honor.

The men’s volleyball Outside Hitter was selected to the nine-man All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the four-game Golden Flyer Invitational February 6. 

Podgorny finished with 2.15 kills, 1.54 digs and 2.19 points per set.  The Hawks (4-4) picked-up a win against D’Youville (3-1) and dropped matches to #9 Elmira College, Medaille College and the hosts, Nazareth College.

Podgorny earned 28 kills (nine against D’Youville) with a .128 attack percentage, added 20 digs (six against D’Youville and Medaille) and added an assist and block assist against Elmira.
