JOHNSTOWN, PA – The 2026 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Baseball Tournament begins on Wednesday, May 6th, as the top six ranked teams advance to the double-elimination tournament located at Sargent Stadium in Johnstown, Pa.

The Hilbert College Hawks (10-7 in conference play, 22-15 overall) qualified for the postseason and earned a first round bye as the conference's second seed.
The Hawks will begin play at the AMCC tournament on Thursday, May 7
th at 4 pm, taking on the winner of Wednesday's Pitt-Greensburg vs Pitt-Bradford matchup.

THE HAWKS
- Hilbert earned the AMCC's second seed (highest seeding in program history) and a first-round bye with a 10-7 conference record.
- The Hawks have recorded at least one win against each of the five other AMCC playoff teams.
- Hilbert leads the conference with 34 stolen bases in AMCC games. The Hawks have also been hit by a conference-leading 29 pitches.
- Hilbert's 5.49 team ERA is good for third in the conference, while the Hawks are one of just three teams to strike out over 100 batters.
- Five Hawks have recorded at least 20 RBI as the Hawks boast a balanced lineup, scoring 260 runs on the year.
- Six Hawks have started at least 30 games with Joey Haynes (all 37), Harley Hoag (36), and Patrick Evans (36) leading the way.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Haynes leads the way offensively with a .439 average in conference play (fifth in AMCC). The senior outfielder also ranks fifth in the conference with five stolen bases and eighth in the AMCC with a .513 OBP.
- Evans' six stolen bases in AMCC play place him third, while his 11 walks rank him sixth. The senior utility is also tied for the team lead with a pair of homers in conference action.
- Catcher Reed Lesmeister is seventh in the AMCC with a .514 OBP. Defensively, he caught three runners stealing (third in the AMCC) while allowing just two steals all season in league play.
- The Hawks boast one of the conference's best 1-2 punches on the mound in Gregory Lowry and Andrew Johnson. Lowry's 2.64 ERA in AMCC contests led the league while his five wins placed him second.
- Johnson, who set the program single season record with 66 strikeouts, was second in the conference with 47 strikeouts and third with 41.2 innings pitched.
