D'Andrea and Sehn Named to AMCC Men's Volleyball All-Conference Teams

HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Alleghany Mountain Collegiate Conference released the 2026 Men's Volleyball Postseason honors this morning and a pair of Hilbert Hawks were recognized as All-Conference selections.

Hilbert senior Nikolas D'Andrea was selected to the conference's First Team, his first career postseason accolade, while junior Jacob Sehn was awarded his first career postseason honor with a Second Team nod.

After an undefeated season that included both the regular and postseason conference championship, Buffalo State swept the individual honors today. Gavin Wilczewski took home Player of the Year, Kellen Palmer was honored as the Newcomer of the Year, and Daniel Miranda was named the AMCC's Coach of the Year.

D'Andrea, who was named the AMCC's Offensive Player of the Week five times throughout the regular season, wraps up his career with the Hawks earning a First Team All-Conference Selection. The 6'5 opposite was a dominant force for the Hawks all season, totaling 359 kills and 4.17 kills per set while hitting .268. He also added 253 receptions, 119 digs, 40 aces, 25 blocks, and 15 assists, while passing at .913. D'Andrea finished AMCC regular season play first in the conference in points (209.5), points per set (4.9), kills (188), kills per set (4.37), total attacks (453), and total attacks per set (10.53). The 2026 campaign saw D'Andrea set a new program single season record with 40 service aces, while his 30 kills and 37.5 points on 1/17/26 against Houghton both marked new career highs.

D'Andrea finishes his historic career with Hilbert second all-time in points per set (3.63), third in kills per set (2.97) and fourth in total kills (574). In addition to setting a new single season service ace mark this year, D'Andrea also posted top five seasons in program history in kills, kills per set, points, points per set, and attack attempts.

Sehn, a 5'7 libero from East Syracuse, NY, anchored the Hawks' defense all season to earn his first career postseason honor, an AMCC Second Team placement. Sehn notched 246 digs, averaging 2.70 digs per set, with 157 assists, 16 kills, 3 aces, and a block. His 114 digs and 2.59 digs per set in AMCC play were good enough for third and fourth in the conference, respectively. Sehn also established himself as one of the conference's premier serve receivers, posting a remarkable .957 on 467 total receptions.

On February 23rd, 2026, Sehn was honored as the AMCC's Defensive Player of the Week, in a week that saw him set a new program single-game record with 25 digs. Sehn's outstanding junior campaign placed him top ten on the program's single season digs, digs per set, and serve percentage lists. He also enters his senior season second in program history in digs per set and serve percentage, and fifth in reception percentage.
