HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College's Michael Pozzuto and Nikolas D'Andrea were named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Men's Volleyball Players of the Week today. Pozzuto took home his third career Defensive Player of the Week honors while D'Andrea was named Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season.

Michael Pozzuto (Buffalo, NY/West Seneca West) had a strong week for the Hawks' defense with 39 digs (3.25 digs per set), 83 receptions, passing .928, with eight kills, and an ace. Pozzuto showed consistency throughout the week, registering eight, 13, and 18 digs in each of the Hawks' three matches. 

Nikolas D'Andrea (North Tonawanda, NY/ North Tonawanda | Medaille) led the Hawks offense again with a dominant performance all week with 59 kills (averaging 5.36 kills per set), hitting .242, with 11 aces, 25 receptions, 22 digs, three blocks, and an assist. He recorded 26 kills in the match against Mount Aloysius, then registered a double-double of 24 kills and 12 digs against PS-Altoona. D'Andrea recorded 66.0 points on the week, for an average of 6.0 points per set.
