2025 ROSTERS
The 2025 Women's Cross-Country roster features a pair of returning runners, while the men's squad sees a runner return from injury join an incoming freshman to round out the roster.
Paige Gajewski and
Torren Meyers each return to the women's roster after gaining valuable experience late last season. Both Gajewski and Meyers raced against Division I competition at the Canisius Alumni Invite, before taking on conference opponents at the AMCC Championship to end last fall.
The pair each posted their best times of the season at Delaware Park in the Canisius Invite as Gajewski recorded a 35:39.1Â 5K, while Meyers ran a career-best 35:39.1Â 5K.
On the men's side, junior
Alexander Scheer will look to return to his 2023 form that saw him set a PR in the 5K at the Meghan Memorial (18:45.8) and 8K at AMCC Championship race (31:51.1).
Joining Scheer on the trails this season will be freshman
Thomas Roty, who will look to hit the ground running in his first semester of collegiate action.

THE 2025 SCHEDULE
Seventh-year head coach
Robert Krug will lead the Hawks as they open their season at home, hosting the 17th Annual Meghan Memorial Race on August 30 on the campus trails.Â
The team will then travel to Williamsville for a return appearance at the Daemen Alumni Invitational on September 13 at Bassett Park and close out the month of September with a repeat performance at the 36th Annual Harry F. Anderson Invite hosted by Roberts Wesleyan University September 27th.Â
The Hawks will make their final regular-season appearance at the Canisius Alumni Invitational on October 18 at Delaware Park in Buffalo.Â
Hilbert will conclude the 2025 campaign at the AMCC Championship races, set for November 1 at Penn State Behrend in Erie, Pa., where the men will run an 8K and the women a 6K.

Head coach
 Robert Krug returns for his seventh season with the program in 2025 and is joined once again by
Alex Schmitt who is entering his fourth season with Hilbert. Krug and Schmitt will continue to work together in guiding the Hawks in the classroom and on the trails. Under the pair's leadership, the men's team led the way for the Hilbert Athletic Department in 2024 with a 3.78 cumulative GPA.
Dr. Megan Witzleben continues to support the Men's and Women's Cross Country programs by serving as the team's Faculty Team Advisor. She is an additional source of academic support and serves as a resource regarding academic issues for the cross-country student-athletes and coaches. Dr. Witzleben's association with the department also creates a communication link between faculty, student-athletes, and coaches.
