HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College's Robert Krug, head coach of the Men's and Women's Cross Country programs, announced the date for the 17th annual Meghan Memorial race this 2025 season.

The annual race, which honors the memory of Meghan Sorbera, will take place on Saturday, August 30th on the trails surrounding the Hilbert College campus. 

The women's 5K race will start at 10:00 am while the men's 5K will begin at 10:45 am.

The Hawks' cross country programs continue to create a fun, race day celebration to honor Meghan, a former cross country runner who suffered fatal injuries from a hit-and-run car accident in October 2008.

Local collegiate runners will compete alongside any open division / unattached runners from the community.

There is a $30 fee for open / unattached local runners.  Please register online by following the link at the top of the page.
