AMCC MEN'S LACROSSE HISTORY
- The AMCC league hosted it's first AMCC Men's Lacrosse Championship Tournament in 2025.
- On April 30th, No. 3 Hilbert earned a 7-6 overtime win over No. 2 Pitt-Bradford and No. 1 Alfred State claimed a 23-4 victory over No. 4 La Roche
- The 2025 AMCC Champion will be crowned on Saturday, May 3rd.
- Please don't forget that the AMCC league hosted a Showcase Tournament in 2017. The five AMCC institutions competing at that time, Alfred State, Franciscan, Hilbert, La Roche, and Medaille, sponsored men's lacrosse but Hilbert and Medaille were competing as associate members in the United East Conference, while Alfred State, Franciscan and La Roche were competing as independent institutions not affiliated with any conference. At the conclusion of that season, only four teams advanced to the Showcase Tournament. The Hawks recorded a 13-3 win over Alfred State College to capture the first, and only, Showcase trophy after putting Medaille away in a 27-1 victory in the opening game.
Hilbert | Alfred State Series
- Hilbert holds a 6-2 record over the Pioneers dating back to the 2014 season.
- The Hawks' largest margin of victory was a 21-8 win in 2016, and their smallest margin of victory was a 12-9 win in 2019.
- Hilbert recorded the 13-3 win at St. Francis High School over the Pioneers to earn the 2017 AMCC Showcase Title.
- Alfred State's largest margin of victory was this year, April 23rd, when they captured an 11-4 victory after their only other win (9-6) in 2019.
About Hilbert
- Joey DiMaria leads the AMCC (conference only games) with 14 goals, is second in the league with 17 points and third in shots (35) and shots on goal (23).
- Jason Sage is ranked 4th in AMCC conference-only games with five assists while scoring three goals.
- Mason Shehadi and Kristopher Newman lead the Hawks with 14 ground balls and Jonathan Roustum has recorded seven caused turnovers in AMCC games only.
- Kristopher Newman has won 22-of-29 face offs
- Griffin Miller lead the AMCC in conference only game with a 71.9 percent save rate and is close shares the lead with 5.77 goals against average.
