D3 Week, Day 2: AMCC Sportsmanship Teams

HAMBURG, N.Y. - The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC), the original Division III Athletic Conference which created the Be Loud, Be Proud and Be Positive Fan Code of Conduct, began recognizing positive sportsmanship within the league during the 2013-14 academic year.

Today, the AMCC released the Winter AMCC All-Sportsmanship teams for Men's and Women's Basketball and Women's Bowling.

Similar to All-Conference Teams which are selected by head coaches in the AMCC at the conclusion of each sport season, the AMCC is proud to recognize an All-Sportsmanship Team.

The All-Sportsmanship Team is a combination of one athlete from each institution, as selected by their own teammates. An All-Sportsmanship athlete is chosen for their elevated level of ethical conduct, respect and fair play in both practice and competition, whether on the sidelines or as an active competitor.

Congratulations to a trio of first time selections: junior Victoria Hanley (Women's Bowling), senior Nathan Moore (Men's Basketball), and senior Kelsey Schlagenhauf (Women's Basketball).  Your teammates value your leadership and fair play.

Earlier this year, the Fall All-Sportsmanship teams were announced, and at the conclusion of the 2025 AMCC Spring Championship tournaments, the Spring All-Sportsmanship teams will be recognized.
