HAMBURG, N.Y. - The Athletics Department is pleased to announce the Hilbert College Athletes of the Week for December 8, 2025.  

Jaden Mitchell (Men's Basketball) and Larry Morse (Men's Basketball) were recognized for their athletic performances during their respective team's run last week.  These two athletes have propelled the Hawks to an eight-game win streak and a 2-0 record which leads the AMCC league.  The Hawks earned a 99-84 win at Pitt-Bradford and a 77-66 victory over Mount Aloysius. 

Jaden Mitchell (State College, PA/State College | Chatham) found his shooting touch last week which resulted in a 16.5 point/game performance.  He hit 11-of-18 shots from the field (2-for-6 from deep), and 7-of-10 at the foul line.  The 6-4 guard added 10 rebounds, five assists in 51 minutes of action.  Mitchell's impressive game was against Pitt-Bradford when he recorded a career-high 21 points (8-of-11 FG) and added nine rebounds and five assists. 

Larry Morse (Endicott, NY/Union Endicott) recorded a pair of double-doubles to help push the Hawks to victories.  He averaged 26.5 points per game, converting 21-of-33 field goal attempts and 11-of-14 at the charity stripe.  Morse added 25 rebounds (8 offensive), three steals and two assists.  The 6-5 forward exploded for a career-high 37 points/15 rebound performance against Bradford, hitting 15-of-22 from the floor and 7-of-9 at the foul line.
