HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College's Larry Morse was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week today.

Larry Morse (Endicott, NY/Union Endicott) led the Hawks to their 9th and 10th straight victories this week, helping Hilbert set a new program and school record for consecutive wins. The junior forward averaged 21.5 points and 9.0 rebounds a night in wins over Buffalo State and Carlow. Morse recorded 20 points and five rebounds in a midweek non-conference win over the Bengals, before posting a 23-point, 13-rebound double-double in Saturday's 77-55 win over the Celtics in AMCC action. With another 2-0 week, the Hawks advanced to 3-0 in the conference and 10-1 overall for the season.
