HAMBURG, N.Y. - The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Hilbert College Women's program placed six Hawks on the 2025 CSC All-District team.
Seniors
Laura Smith (3.79|Forensic Science) and
Vanessa Van Slyke (3.61|Forensic Science) are three-peat performers while junior
Keira McFarland (3.94|Intelligence & Data Analysis) and
Michaela Olson (3.81|Psychology) earned their second consecutive award. Senior
Madison Matuszak (3.67|Criminal Justice) and sophomore
Julia Fabiano (3.66|Cybersecurity garnered their first academic recognition.
*** To support a nomination, each soccer player must have competed in 90% of the team's games and have started 66% of each contest while maintaining a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.
The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
What is College Sports Communicators?
College Sports Communicators (CSC) was founded in 1957 and is a 4,100+ member national association for strategic, creative and digital communicators across intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. From its founding in 1957 until the 2022 name change, the organization was known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The organization, which celebrated its 65th year during the 2021-22 academic year, is the second oldest management association in all of intercollegiate athletics.
