Sanders, Stauffer, and Matuszak Named to AMCC All-Conference Teams

HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference released the 2025 Women's Soccer Postseason honors this morning and three Hilbert Hawks were recognized as All-Conference selections.

Freshman forward Ja'Lynn Sanders (Bradenton, FL/Palmetto) was named to the second team, while junior midfielder Evin Stauffer (Port Allegany, PA/Port Allegany) and Senior defender Madison Matuszak (Java Center, NY/Pioneer) were each placed on the third team.

League champion Penn State Behrend swept the individual player awards, while Anne Holmok of Alfred State was named Coach of the Year. Marlene Andrade and Riley Morningstar were tabbed as Offensive and Defensive player of the year, respectively, and Bri Ross earned Newcomer of the Year to round out the hardware for the Lions.

Sanders earned Second-Team All-Conference honors after an outstanding rookie campaign with the Hawks. The 5-8 forward led Hilbert with 15 goals, four assists, and 34 points in 16 games played. She led all Division III freshmen with .94 goals per game and topped the AMCC with 15 goals and 34 points overall. In conference play, Sanders finished top five in both goals and points and was second with 34 total shots. Sanders recorded hat tricks against Thiel and Pitt-Bradford and took five shots on goal in eight different games throughout the season on her way to setting a new program record with 5.75 shots per game. Sanders was named AMCC Offensive Player of the Week twice during the season (September, 22nd and 29th).

Stauffer provided the Hawks with steady play in the midfield all year as she earned Third-Team All-Conference recognition. The 5-6 midfielder started all 16 games, recording ten points on three goals and four assists. Her seven points in league play ranked her in the top 20 of the AMCC. Stauffer tallied a goal and two assists for four points against Pitt-Bradford on 10/22.

Matuszak started all 16 games on the backline for the Hawks and was a key contributor in five shutouts throughout the season on her way to earning Third-Team All-Conference honors following her senior season. The 5-9 defender played 93% of the team's total minutes and recorded assists in wins over SUNY Canton and SUNY Cobleskill. Matuszak was named AMCC Defensive Player of the Week on September 22nd after a pair of shutout victories.
