Hilbert College Hawks
- The Hilbert Hawks are returning to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference for the program's 10th appearance over the last 11 seasons.
- The Hawks earned a 3rd seed this year will host a First Round play-off game
- Hilbert (9-5) will tangle with No. 6 Pitt-Bradford  (5-9) Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in the Hafner Recreation Center
- The Hilbert College Men's Basketball program holds a 9-12 overall record in the AMCC post-season tournament, while making five semi-final appearances
- The Hilbert Men's Basketball program hosted the AMCC Final Four weekend as the No. 1 seeded team twice, in 2012-13 and 2014-15
- The 2013-14, 2014-15, and the 2015-16 teams appeared in the AMCC Championship Title game
- The Hawks are loaded with talent this year. On any given night a new player can shine on the hardwood
- Quran Briggs is the team's leading scorer, ranks 5th in the AMCC with 18.3 points per game Â
- Hilbert has five players averaging 9.5+ points per game and two of those players, Edward Perez and Jahmel Demery rank in the AMCC Top 10 in reboundingÂ
- Zach Miller's 43.5 3-point FG% ranks him second-best in the league and Eric Jackson is ranked number seven in assists per game
Pitt-Bradford Panthers
- The Panthers will travel to Hamburg for the second time this semester
Pitt-Bradford fell to No. 6 after suffering four consecutive late-season defeats
- The Panthers went .500 in the first month of AMCC action then earned back-to-back victories to start February. They hit the skids at the end of February though they did play league leaders Penn State Altoona to a four-point game this past Saturday
-  Bradford is led by the AMCC scoring leader Nathan Schneider who averages 22.3 points per game while hitting .571-percent from the field; he is also ranked #2 in reb/gameÂ
- Phillips Wallace adds 12 points a game and Jeremy Rodriguez tosses in 10.5 points
Series History
- The Hawks swept the Panthers in 2022-23, earning both victories off last-second shots
- After trailing by 10 points at intermission and then 19 points with 13 minutes left, the Hawks battled to the final horn February 15th when they captured an 82-81 road win
- Eric Jackson scored the game winning lay-up with 2.8 seconds on the clock. Jahmel Demery earned a 16 point/11 rebound double double, Edward Perez led with 19 points and Quran Briggs notched 14 points. Jackson added 15 points and led in steals and assists while Zach Miller drilled a series of 3-pointers in the come-back run
- Bradford's Gavyn Mason never left the court and led with 25 points and 10 rebounds while Nathan Schneider tossed in 22 points, dished six assists and grabbed 11 rebounds
- Hilbert and Bradford had another battle on their hands January 25th in Hamburg. The Panthers took a one-point lead before Shaheem Ellis knocked down a jumper with 8-seconds left to give Hilbert the 90-89 win.
- Ellis earned team-high honors with 22 points and six steals
- Briggs added 20 points and Perez chipped in 16 points and nine rebounds
- Miller reached double digits with 10 points
- Jeremy Rodriguez led the Panthers with 24 points and Phillip Wallace added 16 in the loss
- Since 2004-05, when Hilbert joined the AMCC league, the Hawks hold a 27-12 record against the Panthers
- Bradford snapped Hilbert's 13-game winning streak when they defeated the Hawks January 12, 2022Â
- Hilbert and Pitt-Bradford have met twice in the postseason tournamentÂ
- The Hawks earned a 99-88 First Round win in 2015 and an 80-75 semifinal victory in the 2016 season.Â
- Hilbert competed in the AMCC Title game both of those seasons
