HAMBURG, N.Y. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches announced its 2025-26 Honors Court and a pair of Hilbert Men's Basketball student-athletes were recognized.
Senior
Ronnie Lewis and sophomore
Jaden Mitchell become the 11
th and 12
th Hawks to earn this honor since Head Coach
Rob deGrandpre took over the program 24 years ago.
Lewis, a team captain and four year member of the Hawks' Men's Basketball program recently graduated with a Criminal Justice Administration degree while Mitchell wrapped up his first year at Hilbert working toward a Business Management degree.
The NABC Honors Court recognizes men's college basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the previous season. In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The qualifications are as follows:
1. Academically a junior, senior or graduate student and a varsity player.
2. Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the academic year.
3. Member of a four-year institution with at least one active NABC-member coach.
