KENMORE, N.Y. - The Hilbert College Women's Bowling team went 2-3 on Day 2 of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Baker Round Robin Tournament at Classic Lanes.
This weekend's tournament is a true team effort each game. Five Hilbert bowlers roll two frames each during the 10-frame game, and their combined effort produces a total pin fall score after five games.
Hilbert went 2-3 today, earning wins over Pitt-Greensburg (736-666) and Mount Aloysius (767-599).
The Hawks dropped a close set of games to La Roche (725-710) and Penn State Altoona (686-661), and Pitt-Bradford (772-716).
Hilbert rolled a team average of 139.1 through five matches and earned their highest baker score (797) against Mount Aloysius.
When competing against the Hawks, the five Hilbert opponents had a combined 137.9 average.
The Hawks, 2-4 this weekend, will return to Classic Lanes tomorrow to face Saint Vincent College, New Jersey City University, Medaille University and William Smith College.
