Record-Breaking Pinfall Highlights Hilbert Bowling’s AMCC Championship Run

Hannah Named to the All-Tournament Team

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – Hilbert College Women's Bowling concluded its record-setting 2025-26 campaign with a hard-fought loss to Alvernia University in the morning match of the 2026 AMCC Championship Tournament, and freshman Brooklyn Hannah was named to the 2026 All-Tournament Team.

The Hawks wrapped up the season at 29-49, a year highlighted by breaking the program's single-season win record. Despite the 2-1 Mega Match loss, Hilbert delivered one of its strongest performances of the season on the championship stage.

Hilbert opened the match in impressive fashion, dominating the traditional total pinfall format with a 939-837 victory. The score not only secured the point but also set a new program record for total pins in a single match, showcasing the team's depth and consistency.

The momentum carried into the baker total pinfall match, but the Hawks came up just short, falling by 11 pins (894-883) in a tightly contested round.

In the decisive best-of-seven baker format, Hilbert showed resilience after dropping the first two games. The Hawks battled back to even the match at 2-2 with strong performances in the third and fourth games, highlighted by a 196-167 victory. Alvernia, however, regained control late, taking the final two games to secure the 4-2 match win.

Individually, Jenna Angle (215) and Paige Mullen (229) each delivered season-best performances, while Thea Nahrebeski (191), Brooklyn Hannah (179), and Victoria Hanley (125) contributed to the record-setting 939 pinfall total.

Though the season ended just shy of a championship appearance, Hilbert's record-breaking campaign and standout performance at the AMCC Tournament underscore the program's continued growth and momentum heading into next year.
