PITTSBURGH, PA. – Hilbert College Women's Bowling upset No. 4 Penn State Behrend in the 10 am AMCC Single Elimination Mega match rolled at the Pine Plaza Lanes in Pittsburgh, PA. This marks the second year in a row the lower-seeded Hawks beat the Lions which knocked them out of the tournament.
No. 5 Hilbert advances to the double elimination portion of the tournament and will face No. 1 Saint Vincent College this afternoon at 2:30 pm.
The Hawks recorded a 905-830 total pinfall victory over the Lions for the first time in 2025-26 after going 0-4 this season.
Brooklyn Hannah rolled a team-high 253 and received solid support from
Jenna Angle (191) and
Paige Angle (186).
As a team, Hilbert averaged 181 while the Lions combined for a 166 average in the total pin fall opening match.
The Hawks confidence on the lanes continued as they claimed a 911-820 Baker total pin fall victory, closing the match with a 2-0 score.
