Bowlers Split With Behrend

HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College women's bowling team returned to action when they hosted Penn State Behrend in non-conference action tonight.  The Hawks split with the Lions and improved to 2-3 in the early part of their 2021 season.  

How the Match Progressed
  • Hilbert earned a 842-834 opening match victory in their first dual match of the season.
  • Junior Victoria Kurdziel rolled a season-high 204 to lead Hilbert to an eight-pin victory over Behrend.
  • The Lions turned the table on the Hawks and strung together a 748-737 5-game total pin fall win to close the match.
  • Kurdziel dropped 171 total pins earning a 17.10 baker average and continued to get strong support from Ashley Forbes (15.80 baker average) and Kaitlyn Barone (15.10 average).


Up Next
The Hawks will travel to Lockport tomorrow night to participate in the Daemen College Quad match.  Allie Brandt Lanes will welcome Medaille and D'Youville to the baker-game match.
