#4 Mount Aloysius (8-9) will travel to #4
Hilbert College (8-9) on Saturday afternoon for the final AMCC Women's Basketball Game of the Week this 2016-17 season.
The victor of the game will unlock a three-way tie for 4th place, and potentially give the winner the right to host the 1st Round game in the 2017 AMCC Play-offs.
Hilbert returns to the Hafner Rec Center with a 2-game win streak under their belt. The Hawks are 3-2 since the 1st of February after they beat Franciscan (71-43), Greensburg (59-58) and Behrend (68-48). The Mounties come into this weekend's game with a mid-week win against Franciscan. Since February 1, Mount Aloysius is 2-3 earning their other win against Pitt-Bradford (63-59) Feb. 4. They fell in defeat to La Roche (69-57), Altoona (73-65) and Medaille (74-62).
The Hawks are excited to be celebrating their five seniors' careers when they host Mount Aloysius in the AMCC Game of the Week. The women's team is on the verge of earning their first post-season play-off appearance in 11 years thanks to the efforts of multiple working parts coming together this season.
In her final season, senior guard
Kelsi Ebert is ranked third in the AMCC in steals and fourth in assists, while she leads the Hawks in scoring (16.4). In only three seasons, she became the program's all-time steals leader (147) and broke the single season steals record earlier this year. Freshman
Taylor Corts chips in 11 points per game and averages 5.7 rebounds from the guard spot. Senior forward
Shannon Rogers continues to battle in the paint scoring 9.2 points and grabbing just under eight rebounds per contest. The Hawks have gotten big shots from the perimeter during the season from senior

The Mount Aloysius women's basketball team enters the final week of AMCC regular season play looking to clinch their fifth playoff berth in the last six seasons.
Mount Aloysius has been paced by the scoring of freshman forward
Jessa Wright, who is averaging 13.9 points per game and is second in the conference with 57 three-point shots made. Wright also leads the team with 6.6 rebounds per game and 52 total steals. Sophomore guard
Breana Kendrick also averages in double figures for the Mounties at 12.1 points per game, while junior forward
Katie Bracken has been solid all-around averaging eight points and 5.3 rebounds while leading Mount Aloysius with 62 assists and 16 blocks on the season. As a team, the Mounties have been dangerous behind the arc as they rank first in the conference with 208 three-point shots made.

Kelsi Ebert paced Hilbert with her second career double-double (28 points/10 assists).
Ashley Repine and
Taylor Corts tossed in 11 points and 10 points, respectively.
Shannon Rogers cleared the glass with nine rebounds while adding eight points. The Mounties were led by Breana Kendrick who poured in 18 points. Antwanye' Parks grabbed six offensive rebounds and finished with 13 caroms by the final horn. Fans can expect Mount Aloysius to look for their perimeter shots as they unleased 31 3-pointers the first time around.
