Krueger's Crew Prepares For NEAC Cross-over Weekend

HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College men's volleyball team embarks on their first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) cross-over weekend in two days.

The Hawks (4-4, 1-0 NEAC) will travel to Medaille College in North Buffalo for three games, spaced over two days on February 13 and 14.

The hosts have created an informative webpage (click here) for fans to follow live video and live stats as the weekend continues.

Hilbert will battle Wells College on Saturday at 12pm and then return to the Sullivan Center for a 4pm game against Keuka College.

The Hawks then head back to Buffalo for a 10am contest Sunday against SUNY Poly to complete their cycle for the weekend.

D'Youville and Medaille will also face Wells, Keuka and SUNY Poly over the course of the 30-hour event.

Senior Korey Schwab is only four service aces away from becoming the Hawks' All-Time career leader.  He is currently chasing Adam Weaver '14 who posted 84 aces in 341 sets.  Schwab can break the record at a quicker pace as he's competed in only 331 sets prior to this weekend's tourney.

Hilbert and D'Youville had a jump-start two weeks ago when they played their first league game at the College Center gym on the lower westside of Buffalo January 28.  The Hawks claimed a 3-0 victory to lead the conference at 1-0.  D'Youville dropped to the bottom at 0-1.

Fans can stay connected to the NEAC website (here) and track the season stats, etc. as we head to the championship weekend on April 9 and 10.
