Kirkland Ottey earned his third career Hawk of the Week honor after exploding offensively off the bench for the men’s basketball team last week.

Ottey found his shooting touch scoring 50 points in a pair of AMCC contests.  He averaged 25 points per game, shooting 53% from the floor, both inside the arc and from long distance while averaging 2.5 steals, 2.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds.

The 5-10 guard opened the week scoring 21 points which included a 7-for-7 performance at the foul line in the 83-79 loss at Medaille. 

He closed the week earning his career-high 29 points in team’s overtime loss to La Roche (89-87).  Ottey connected on 56.3% from the floor against La Roche notching 9-of-16 shots and hitting 6-of-10 behind the 3-point line.
