Shannon Rogers continues to be a fierce competitor in the paint and earned another Hawk of the Week recognition.

The second-year forward from Arcade averaged 16 points (43% FG) and 14.5 rebounds in two AMCC games last week. She continues as the #1 ranked player in Division III with eight double-doubles this season as the 4-4 Hawks went 1-1 in league play.

Rogers scored 20 points and pulled down 13 rebounds while dishing a pair of assists / swiping three steals in the Hawks’ first victory (62-46) over Medaille College, dating back to 2003-04. She followed that performance with 16 rebounds, 12 points and two blocks and steals in the four-point loss to Mt. Aloysius.
