Jerame Owens earned another Hawk of the Week honor after he continued to shine in the paint for the men’s basketball team last week. 

Owens averaged 15.7 ppg and 9.3 rpg and was active on defense as he was credited with seven steals and five blocks in the Hawks three games.  The junior forward was impressive from the field shooting 54.3% as the Hawks faced the two of the league’s toughest opponents. 

Owens produced 11 points, eight rebounds and three steals against Behrend and followed that with his seventh double-double of the season when he posted 16 points and 12 rebounds and added four assists and two blocks against Medaille.  

Owens closed the week on a high note. The Spencerport native scored his 1,000 career point on his first shot in the Mount Aloysius game and continued to rack-up points.  He went 9-for-11 from the floor and tallied 20 points while dishing five assists, four steals and two blocks.
