Kirkland Ottey earned his first Hawk of the Week honor after helping the Hawks pick up two more Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference wins this week.  The mid-semester transfer averaged 11.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 23.5 minutes of action in wins over Pitt-Bradford and La Roche College.  The New Rochelle native came off the bench and sank both field goal attempts while adding two assists against Bradford, whom the Hawks split games with this year.  Then three days later Ottey, in his first collegiate start in royal and white, shot 50% from the floor, knocked down 5-of-6 at the foul line and scored 16 points in the sweep over La Roche College.  The 5-10 guard also added four assists and two steals in Hilbert’s 16th victory of the season.
