HAMBURG, N.Y. - The Athletics Department is pleased to announce the Hilbert College Athletes of the Week for April 13, 2026.  

Gregory Lowry (Baseball) and Alex Rumfola (Baseball) were recognized for their athletic performances during their respective team's run last week. 

Gregory Lowry (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls | SUNY Niagara) showcased exceptional consistency and command across two appearances, earning a win (8-3) while allowing just one earned run over 8.2 innings. The 6-0 junior right-hand pitcher did not issue a walk all week, struck out five and demonstrated elite control while forcing opponents to earn every baserunner. His steady presence on the mound helped anchor the pitching staff and was instrumental in the Hawks' doubleheader sweep. 

Alex Rumfola (East Aurora, NY/East Aurora) delivered a dominant outing on the mound, tossing a complete-game victory in which he allowed just one run on four hits over 7.0 innings. The 6-0 junior right-hand pitcher consistently kept hitters off balance, striking out two while limiting scoring opportunities, finishing with an outstanding 0.71 WHIP. His ability to control the game from start to finish played a pivotal role in securing a key 3-1 conference win.
