HAMBURG, N.Y. - The Athletics Department is pleased to announce the Hilbert College Athletes of the Week for February 23, 2026.
Larry Morse (Men's Basketball) and Thea Nahrebeski (Women's Bowling) were recognized for their athletic performances during their respective team's run last week.
Larry Morse (Endicott, NY/Union Endicott) was unstoppable in a pair of conference games last week that solidified the Hawks' 4th place seed heading into the AMCC postseason tournament. The 6-5 forward recorded back-to-back double-doubles in the 109-105 loss to Pitt-Bradford and the 90-75 victory against Carlow. Morse manufactured a career-setting two-game series after scoring 67 points after hitting 28-of-39 shots from the floor and 11-of-13 from the foul line. He paired 33.5 points per game with a 13 rebound per game average while adding six assists, two steals and three blocked shots.
Thea Nahrebeski (Buffalo, NY/Orchard Park) delivered a historic performance, setting two new program records at the Niagara Brunswick Classic. She knocked down 244 pins in a traditional match against William Smith and posted a school-record 207.6 average across five matches to earn All-Tournament Team honors on day 1. Nahrebeski led the Hawks with an 19.8 baker average on day 2 as she continued to drive the Hawks to a 7th place finish.
