RYE, N.Y. – Hilbert College Women's Hockey dropped a 6–0 decision to Manhattanville College on Friday night in UCHC action at Playland Ice Casino.
The Valiants struck first midway through the opening period, as Catrina Chinetti netted the game-winning goal at 15:20 to give Manhattanville a 1–0 advantage after 20 minutes. The Hawks earned a powerplay and fired five shots throughout the frame but were unable to find the back of the net.
Manhattanville extended its lead in the second period with two even-strength goals, from Harper Weisbeck at 8:34 and Jada Mackinnon at 13:21, sending the teams into the second intermission with a 3–0 score. The Valiants added three more goals in the final frame to double the advantage and earn the 6-0 conference win

Brook Thompson was busy throughout the evening, making a season-high 72 saves between the pipes. The Hawks blocked 37 shots defensively, led by
Amelia Murphy (eight) and
Caitlin Conrad (six), who combined for 14 blocks.
Offensively, the Hawks generated eight shots, led by three from
Izabelle Wagner, who won a team-high nine faceoffs.
