HAMBURG, N.Y. – Athletic Director
Tim Seil is pleased to welcome several new full-time assistant staff members to the Hilbert College athletics department this month.
Former Hilbert College Athletics graduate assistant
Andrew Loveless returns to campus as the department's very first Assistant Sports Information Director, while
Emma Kyes joins the Sports Medicine team as the third Athletic Trainer on staff.
Loveless will continue to support and promote all aspects of Hilbert's NCAA Division III, 17-sport athletics program, following two years of dedicated service as a Graduate Assistant. During his time in that role, he played an integral part in the day-to-day operations of the Hilbert Hawks athletic program, taking the lead on Sports Information responsibilities for both the football and women's ice hockey teams.
A native of Hamburg, N.Y., Loveless earned his bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in public relations from SUNY Brockport in May 2023, and completed his master's degree in sport administration from Canisius University in 2025.
Kyes, now the third athletic trainer on staff, will help ensure that every student-athlete receives top-level care, in accordance with the code of ethics established by the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA). She brings a wide range of clinical experience, having spent the past year working with the AHL's Rochester Americans and WNY's own NFL team, the Buffalo Bills. Her responsibilities included injury evaluations, development of rehabilitation programs, and assisting with both nutritional and mental health planning. Kyes gained further experiences through clinical hours at UBMD Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, in addition to assignments at St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, and with the University of Buffalo's 2023 football program while finishing her master's degree. She also served and supported the Florida State University Medical Response Unit, and the Student Athletic Training Association as an undergraduate student.
Kyes earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Florida State University in 2023 and recently completed her master's degree in athletic training from the University at Buffalo in May 2025.
