Athletics Department Grade Report: Spring 2025 Semester

HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Athletics Department at Hilbert College is pleased to announce and recognize the academic success of its student-athletes each semester.

As a department, the 2025 Spring report reflects yet another semester of academic success for Hilbert's 17 Division III athletic programs.   The Hawks recorded a 3.11 semester grade point average (gpa) which elevated the department's cumulative gpa to a 3.08.

Overall, 12 teams finished the spring semester scoring above the 3.0 gpa threshold.

The Men's Cross Country team finished the 2024-25 academic year with a two-semester sweep after elevating their spring semester average to a 3.78 gpa.

The Women's Ice Hockey team trailed closely behind with a 3.49 outpacing the Softball, Men's Soccer and Men's Volleyball teams who ranged from 3.41 – 3.43 gpa.

The women's teams recorded a 3.32 spring semester gpa while the men's teams combined for a 2.87 gpa.

65.1 percent of the student-athlete population earned at least a 3.0 while 43.2 percent of the Hawks cleared the 3.5 ceiling in the spring semester.

Madeleine Cook, currently working on six consecutive 4.0 semesters, is joined by five Hawks who have strung together four consecutive 4.0 semesters:  Jacob DonnerAnna FaulknerAndy HerrickBrooke Kwiecien, Michael Pozzuto, and Kelsey SchlagenhaufKailey Stolowski stands alone as the only Hawks with a consecutive trifecta of 4.0 semesters.
