HAMBURG, N.Y. – Just as we all head into the semester break, please allow the Athletics Department to share a few memories from the Fall 2025 semester.
Women's Volleyball advanced to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Final Four tournament for the first time in program history after making appearance in the AMCC postseason tournament for the second consecutive year. The No. 4 Hawks recorded their 20th victory of the season when they took down No. 5 La Roche in a First Round playoff game before they closed their season with a 3-2 loss to No. 1 Mount Aloysius in an AMCC semifinal game. The 20-11 Hawks established 15 new Single Season team records and four players put their name at the top of five individual single season record lists. The 2025 team went on record-setting nine-game win streak, recorded first-time program wins over Houghton and Fredonia (twice) while sweeping La Roche in three matches, all played in Hamburg.
Hilbert Football joined the Liberty League in the program's fourth year of NCAA competition and made strides in point differential against elevated teams in the conference
Men's Golf finished in 7th place at the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference 36-hole championship weekend at Toftrees Golf Resort in State College, PA.
Men's Soccer earned a victory over Keuka College marking the first win against the Storm in program history.
With the first half of their two-semester season completed:
Women's Bowling earned the program's highest place finish at an AMCC Round Robin Baker Match tournament (2nd place) when they went 4-2. The Hawks also established several new match records at the Grapevine Classic: Highest Baker Match (927), Highest Baker Game (253), and Largest Margin of Victory (228 pins).
Men's Basketball is off to an impressive start, taking an 10-1 record to the semester break. After dropping their opening game of the season, Hilbert has strung together a new-program record of 10 consecutive wins in the Fall 2025 portion of their schedule. Junior Jayden Montgomery continues to lead the country with 7.8 assists per game.
Women's Ice Hockey recorded the program's first victory in 40 games, battling to 3-1 road win at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts December 12th which gave Brian Becker and this staff their first collegiate victory as a coaching staff.
INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENTS:
Cross Country:
- Freshman Thomas Roty shattered the men's cross country program's race records. In the first race of his rookie campaign, Roty set a new 5K record (16:44.8) at the Meghan Memorial, and twice during the season, he broke the 8K record. Roty clipped the finish line at the AMCC Championship Meet in 6th place, the highest Hilbert Men's Cross Country runner in program history. His fastest 8K (27:21.65) was achieved at the NCAA Division III Niagara Region race November 15.

Men's Golf:
- Gabe Prohaska stormed through the AMCC 36-hole Championship Tournament with a 5th place finish, setting several new program records at the Toftrees Golf Resort. Prohaska carded a career and program best 76 on day one and followed that with a program best 173, two-day tournament card. His 5th place finish also become a new program record at the AMCC Championship and he became the first Hawk to be named to the All-Tournament Team.
Women's Golf
- Freshman Victoria Battaglia established the 2nd year program's lowest round at Lakeside Country Club at the end of September
Men's Soccer:
- Carter Burke became the All-Time Leader in Points (75) and Assists (21); he also graduates as the program leader in Shots (141), Shots on goal (80), penalty kicks made (7) and attempted (12), honors he earned by the conclusion of his junior campaign
- Daniel Downes became the All-Time leader in Most Ties (4) and Shut Outs (4) before sustaining a season ending injury with five games remaining on schedule
- Jason Vullo graduates in a two-way tie for Game-Winning Goals in program history
Women's Soccer
- Keira McFarland tied the single season record for Most Tie games
- Ja'Lynn Sanders set a new single season record with 5.75 shots per game. The rookie also recorded two hat-trick games (Thiel and Pitt-Bradford)
Women's Volleyball:
- Jessee Jonathan set a new single season record with 68 service aces
- Molly McKinnon broke the single season record when she recorded 1004 attempts in 2025
- Michaela Rice was credited with 39 block assists, a new single season program record
- Jade Schiller had a breakout season, finishing with two new single season records: total digs (562) and digs/set (4.72)
