ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend claimed the AMCC Women's Cross Country Championship today on the 6K course located on their own campus this afternoon.

Denisa Kaunerova competed in her first AMCC Championship race and clipped the timer in 38:23.3 while sophomore
Torren Meyers made a good showing with a 40:48.3 performance.
Penn State Behrend placed five runners in the top 10, claiming their 15th team title. The Lions outpaced second-place Alfred State College and Carlow University
Penn State Behrend's Lindsey Hartle led from start to finish breezing to a 25:55.2 time. But it was an extremely exciting race for second place as Penn State Altoona's Victoria Scutti leaded in at the tape just ahead of Alfred State's Oli Kraynik. They finished in 26:10.2 and 26:10.5 respectively.
