HAMBURG, NY – Hilbert College Women's Basketball took on the Penn State Behrend Lions at the Hafner Recreation Center this evening in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference matchup. The visiting Lions improved to 6-0 with a 102-36 victory as Hilbert dropped a second AMCC contest in a row.
The Hawks jumped out to early leads of 3-0 and 5-2 after
LaDasia Leak connected from deep to open the scoring, and
Kylie Morgan hit on a layup to restore the three-point advantage. However, after the early Hilbert advantage, Behrend ended the first quarter on a 29-4 run to enter the second quarter with a 31-9 lead.
The first fourteen points of the quarter belonged to the Lions as the defending AMCC Champions opened up a 45-9 advantage with 6:55 remaining in the first half.

Kelsey Schlagenhauf added four points in the final seven minutes of the frame as the scoreboard read 65-16 after 20 minutes of play.
The game's third quarter was its closest in terms of points as the Hawks equaled their total from the other three quarters combined in the frame. The hosts got points from Schlagenhauf (eight),
Mackenzie Catan (four) Jonathan (two), Morgan (two), and Leak (one) in the 17-point quarter. A 15-3 final quarter for the Lions saw this one finish with a victory for the visitors.
Schlagenhauf led the Hawks with 14 points and eight boards, while Morgan and Leak tossed in seven and six points respectively. On the defensive end, both Schlagenhauf and Catan posted a pair of steals, while Schlagenhauf recorded a block as well.
